I've had one for a few years now, never had a problem with it.

Yep that's the one....what I do is I keep the frabric covering on mine and push button through the fabric.....then I went to lowes and got a lite drill holder harness that goes on my belt.....that pin pointer fits great in it. Fabric covering keeps the dirt out. Works great !! Yes I'm a hillbilly but u gottta improvise.

It was my first pinpointer because I could not afford anything better. It worked but you had to be right on top of the target and touching it!
If thats all you can afford at this time, by all means get the dang thing, but sometime down the line do yourself a favor and get a GOOD pinpointer.
