just bought a coinstrike, does anyone know if this unit is dual frequency

Fisher always kept the C$ operating frequency a secret, but considering it can run the IE Edge coils (with a small wiring mod) it's safe to assume it's running at 6.25 kHz.

Interesting. Was thinking of picking up a C$, but seeing as I already have the Edge I went ahead and got the extra coils for it instead.

I think you'll be happier with the Edge, aside from the C$ backlight, I thought the Edge was way easier to dial-in and had equal depth, not to mention it's 3/4 lbs lighter :thumbup:
