an ETrac to a F75LTD/SE or vice versa. Or maybe you have both thinking one compliments the other.
For a while I struggled with the ETrac, but Ive started enjoying it more and more;except, when Im out in the corn, soybean fields on top of of an old home/plantation site with tons of nail and other iron. I never have been much of a park/school type hunter or in town on a lot with more modern trash, but using the ETrac, Ive started not minding hunting these places now.
Im wanting another machine for the fields we hunt, something with a fast response, something that can handle iron a bit better. And I do have smaller coils for the ETrac.
Some days, we hit these fields, looking for the old sites, using a large coil to move along a bit faster. When we find a place, we work it, with our larger coils, mark the spot and come back later for another hunt with smaller coils.
Thanks,
John

Response speed is awesome on F75's . Depth is very close and in some instances deeper than the other machine. Both machines see targets next to iron.. they just do it a different way.

Detecting speed is shoulder to shoulder full speed ahead. You will not miss targets moving along with the F75's

ergonomics is sensational with the F75's.. All day swinging is possible One advantage the other has is no GB.. The F75's have to be fast grabbed often to maintain maximum depth.. You just Push the toggle switch forward bob the coil a few times and keep going ..Takes seconds to GB the F75's...

Pick your poison as many do well with either.

As far as the Explorer series its slow and heavy so don't expect to cover as much ground as the other guy...F series on the other hand is light and fast so do expect to cover a lot of ground.

I don't think they would make a good combo as two different animals...

The one thing that has kept me from trying the F75, is all the talk/chat I hear about interference. Plus now, a lot of talk about a new Fisher in the near future. I would offer up a trade, maybe I should wait till the first of the year.
Thanks Elton and Dan.

John

If you mostly relic hunt, then the G2 or Gold Bug with the 11" DD coil will be all you need. Either of these are surprisingly stable at gain of 95 and above.
I've had the F75, loved it, but traded in for the LTD. Didn't give enough time to the LTD so I sold it and bought the Etrac. I still wish I'd kept the LTD. Man is proned to making mistakes every now and then.

The F75 is one of if not THE best open field hunter around. Can really cover ground fast!
