I sent my 75 in for the upgrade,but haven't checked it on big silver--will as soon as rain is over.

Okay here is a lot of numbers for you guys to look at for my F5 with the 5"DD coil. The only thing it did for me was take a lot of guess work out of which settings not to use. I am picking up my brother F5 today and will do some comparing between the 2 F5's.

WoW! that's a lot of numbers.
It looks like the newer F5 with the 5" DD and a silver dime maxes out at a -1 threshold and a 70 Gain.

Well guys I said this one was coming, so hear it is. I wouldn't want to do this over, what a job. :lol: I hope there is something in these charts of air testing results that will help in your setup of your F5.

I will be making a couple of stickers with settings for each coil and stick them on the arm cuff for use in the field.

In the '80's I tried rolls of silver dimes & quarters, using a Tek. Mk-1 and a Compass X-100; zero disc., no matter the angle
read as iron. Same with some other units, just don't recall them all.
