hi was that dis or all metal and what power setting thanksQuote
comcat
well,,,with the 8" coil,,and the batteries reading only 8.3 volts i can read an american and canadian 5c. piece @ 14 " and a one cent piece @ 12",,,but with the 10" coil and fresh batteries i reckon you can add at least 2" - 3" inches more,,,hell,,these suckers need a big spade no matter what coil you use,,,can get deeper with me 6" coil than most others 10" coils ,,,no joke,,,p.s. the two tones are very distinctive,,,the all metal is a low 240 hz. buzz and the discrim,. tone is a bell like 950 kz. beep,,to be totally accurate ,,the dmc system gives you a machine which is ,,, * an all metal deep search non-motion detector,,,* an all metal motion detector,,,* a motion discriminator,,,* a non-motion TR discriminator,,,* and an auto-retuning TR discriminator,,,all in one box,,,NOW,,,go and buy one,,,it really does save you messin around with toys,,,this does EXACTLY what it says on the tin,,and then some,,,rgds ,,,
