Fisher f75 vs II Ba

Has anyone used a Fisher f75 and a IIBa ? If so which do you think is better. I have a II Ba with a 15 inch coil that I am happy with, but was thinking about adding another detector to my collection I also have a Wilson that I use in trashy areas. I have heard alot of people talking about how deep the f75 goes.
Thanks for any input

I have a DMC 2B and a F75 (not LTD). The F75 is my detector of choice. Goes very deep, has every feature you could want, is lightweight and beautifully balanced. Better than my MXT or my 1270. In short, the best I've ever used for relics in 40 years

I have a F75 (not LTD), a MXT with the 1400 head, a 1270,1265,1266 and a Nauty 2B. They are all good on relics and I interchange them alot. The best I believe is my MXT with the DD 1400 head, Has alot of neat features and like the Nauty gives all metal and discrimination tones at the same time

Agreed that the MXT has something similar to the Nautilus with the mixed mode, but it works like if you had the Nautilus in mono on your headphones: both sounds in each headphone. The Nautilus is like two different detectors: all metal in one ear, and disc in the other.

True, but I am used to sounds in both ears after 50 years of relic hunting. I use the Nauty with mono headphones so I can have all sounds in both ears. Took my Nauty out today found some brass items at a homesite that my MXT had missed in the same area. Taking Nauty out tomorrow to try it against my 1270 with the 101/2 inch head

Nauty and the 1270 with the 10 1/2 are pretty even on depth. I like Nauty's dual tones, but 1270 is very good with its single tone Both outstanding.

The original F75 doesn't compete with the DMC IIB in my area though the Ba, lacking the adjustments of the B, must be at a disadvantage. The 1270 that has been mentioned seems to have come in an early version with less depth and worse discrimination or the later one that was far better (though it still lacked an external adjustment to ground balance the discrimination).

Which Wilson do you have and how do you like it. We had the Coin and Relic which sold fairly well but never got the Northstar in the U.K. though a few Coinselect were privately imported.

I have the original relic and coin. I bought it in the late 1970,s I believe. It has found me untold Civil War and Rev War relics over the years. I have 13 detectors and it is still one of my best.Another favorite of mine is the old Fisher 1260 I also have the 1265,66,and 70. Just got the 1260 last week and it has found me a Sharps lockplate and a Virginia coat button in 2 short hunts

We had a little run of Wilsons being sold in the last month in the U.K. One Coin and Relic with the British shaft design that went for nothing (£70) I managed to miss seeing it!. They had the advantage of working better on wet salt than most single frequency machines. A Northstar. Trouble they seemed to be the least reliable in the whole Wilson line. Then a Coinselect which looked in excellent order. I think this went for £190 ($300 approx.) which is alot for a detector of its age.
