Is anyone still using their Nautilus on a regular basis?

I just wondered if anyone was still using the Nautilus on a regular basis.

For me it has earned its rest. I no longer take it out but there are many fond memories of it in the field.

Yes The DMC2B is my first and only choice as the only "True" machine built for hardcore Relic Hunting! Chuck

Yes. I use a nautilus about 60% of the time. They cover a large amount ground, fast, and sniff out targets that my other detector will miss. I have a tendency to try different detectors on the same site because each one will give a different view of what is in the ground.

Yes...I use it as a final check on areas I've pounded with other units. The Nautilus DMC IIB I have will get what's left behind!

I know its deep, in fact I own a collection of ten Nautilus detectors and I believe they were way ahead of their time. However, I have found the latest model Nexus MP (introduced September 2016) is the deepest seeking VLF machine I have ever used and I use it now instead of the Nautilus and even my GPX-5000 is taking a backseat. I have been using this Nexus model since late December 2016 and have to say it is something special.

All that said, I still think the Nautilus is a great detector.

I still think it's the best Relic Detector ever made.

If you ever get the chance try the latest model Nexus MP.... it is outstanding and the deepest seeking detector I have used in my 38 years of detecting.
