I have no idea what this thing is.
While looking for Relics near my home in the woods
At first I thought it was a door to a safe !
and then I thought again" there's no way am I about to be that lucky to
find a buried safe".
anyway it definitely looks like some kind of large locking mechanism on the front of it
hope someone knows what this thing is that gave me about 5 seconds of... "Could it be?" LOL

What material is the round whitish thing. Metal? brass? How does it move? What does the back look like?

The back of the case was pretty plain, I think the round part was Definitely a different type of metal
Possibly aluminum or galvanized steel, I do have a pic of the back of it,
The case is steel/Iron mix. And as far as it moving I saw plate type mechanism behind
the round part so I think it use to turn.

Looks like an old electrical disconnect switch.

I think you guys are right on track.
This place has some dirt roads through
It and I'm sure there's been alot of dumping
In the past, I guess I'm just gonna have to
Dig through all this junk to find the things
in between.
