Find a Hunting Partner/Detecting Club/Hunts

Are there any detecting clubs or groups in the Atlanta or Macon Georgia area. Just getting back into this after 20 years and would like to participate in some hunts.

I am not sure if there are any in this area. Might need to start one. I live between Atlanta and Macon. I am about as far from Atlanta as I am from Macon. I am new to metal detecting, but so far I am enjoying it. Have only been searching in my yard, but it is 3 acres and I want to cover every inch. It is good practice.

I'm working on a club for the southeast including Ga, Fla, SC, AL, NC, ETC I live in Brunswick, Ga,. I travel a lot and can plan events for any state and defiantly GA.

I'm the VP of the Stone Mountain Treasure Hunter's club.

We meet in Lawrenceville, GA. Usually the last Tuesday of the month (unless there is a scheduling conflict) @ 7PM.

I'd like to go with a group MD'ing in Macon or surrounding area. I am at far Northwest corner of Warner Robins off Watson near the freeway.
I want to buy a used but well cared for MD - possibly a Garrett Ace250.

I just moved here from Richmond Va and Live in Alpharetta. I have been having to drive to North GA to find anywhere to Relic hunt. I have met a couple peopl on Forums but no one here to hunt with yet. I knock on doors and hope to get lucky. I found about 20 dropped bullets and an eagle button two weeks ago. Last week I was back in VA and found alot of great relics as usual. Georgia seems to be a hard place to Relic hunt from ehat I am use to back in VA. I guess thats why all these Goergia boy like to go to diggin in VA...I dig there all the time and hoped to find some diggers here. Let me know and we can go flip dome plugs and hopefully find a few skirmishes or camps before this Georgia heat sets in...
