Does this pouch have a sheath sewed in, to hold my predator digging tool and also being leather will it be flexible to bend around my waist on the army belt that i use?

thanks for any input.

Yes, it does have a sheath for your digger and two small pockets for coins/small relics and a larger pocket for relics/trash. Just like any leather product, it will get softer with age as it breaks in and even softer if you treat it. So, yes, it will bend around your waist. I have one and it is the best pouch I've seen anywhere on the market.

There is a thread further down that has some pictures. I'm sure you'll get the same feedback from everyone that owns this product.

Thanks Nock for asking the question... and E-TREC-Virginia for answering it.

I was thinking about purchasing a SR finds pouch myself and I was also wondering whether the sheath to hold the Lesche digger was sewn into the pouch.

I been using one for years and find these do last forever being in leather and well thought out when made. I even have a spare one in case something happens to mine as it is the best pouch by far of anything I have seen. The sheath where my Lesche goes is still not cut or tore like the sheath that came with the Lesche digger. The big part of the pouch will hold a lot of trash and I do keep my water bottle in it too plus the small pouches on the front with the Velcro flaps keeps my coins from getting lost once I find them and even though they don't look very big they do hold a lot of coins.
I feel this was money well spent and happy to have one.

Rick(ND),

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have been following your replies on many threads over the years and have come to trust your opinions.

Now it's just a matter of figuring out whether I want to order a right side mount or left side mount pouch. :)

Thanks Rick (ND) for pointing out the Velcro flaps for keeping the coins nice and secure, I'd forgot to mention that. There are also two small white tubes on one side to keep small tools, i.e, coin popper, or other tools with a narrow handle or throat.

I've seen mods posted on various sites where people have taken them to leather smiths to add additional pockets and/or tool hanging devices (they removed the white tubes).

Talk to Ralph at Sunray. I'm sure that he can pick you out one that with the leather tone that you are looking for.

David,

Most of your questions have been answered by the others on this thread. Thanks guys! The leather tone we chose from the Amish leather worker is chocolate brown and all pouches are two tone as the fold over leather in the design makes them that way. As has been stated elsewhere in this thread they are well made from top quality leather, double stitched and riveted by our local Amish leather worker.
