Seeing how Minelab no longer makes Sovereign meters I bet many would buy a sunray meter.

At the present time we have no plans for a meter for the Sov.

Ralph, I hope you change your mind about coming out with that last version of your meter (with the backlight) again. I've seen so many people on this and other forums asking about a meter that the demand must be there, not only users buying new units, but all those that already have one and wish a meter was available, and many of the sovereign owners that don't want a meter, eventually sell it to get something else, and many of the new owners may want one. Personally, if you said you were coming out with one in the next 6 months, I would be willing to send the full price amount in advance just so you would know I was serious, and I would be amoung the first to get one. You might put a feeler out on the various forums and see how many people would be interested and be willing to send in a deposit. It would let you know if there is enough interest, and the deposit would let you know they are serious.

I agree with "old lobo". I recently bought a 550 meter for my new GT and would have purchased a new meter if they were available. The market is definitely there.
