Hey Lorraine. Do you know anything about violins ?

I want to git Janet a quality set of strings for hers for her birfday and don't know a dang thing about 'em. :shrug:

If you don't, maybe ya know a fiddle player than can advise you ?

Sorry, Jim, I am not knowledgeable regarding violins...your best bet is to visit a musical instrument store where they can answer all questions and advise you on what type of violin to purchase....Let me know what happens, please.

Would this be a first violin for your wife....or has she owned one prior to this?

Did she study violin , or will she be pursuing the study of the violin.?

They have "The Old TIme Fiddlers" get-together every June, about 30 miles from here. Those folks can fiddle!!!! N/T
