Wyandotte Michigan. Just south of Detroit. Just a dirt hunter. Mainly like to hunt for old silver. Do all of my hunting by myself. Usually get out 4-5 times a week.

Hi,i live in worcestershire in England.Don't care what i find...just enjoy digging it.Best find to date is a medieval gold ring from the 1400's.Favourite detector is a whites mxt with sef 8x6 coil.....great for finding tiny hammered coins......looking at a 705 though.Love this forum...it's the best there is....keep swinging.

Delaware County PA. Used a Whites 6000 Di Series 3 for 29 yrs. Too heavy (recently) so I just got a 705.
1st Choice- Coin shooting anywhere. 2nd- Beach OR Relic hunting. Would like to prospect a few times. I was a geology buff in my youth and a good surface collector:mineral-fossil-artifacts.

Lebanon County, Pa., was using a Xterra 705 for awhile shortly after I got into this addiction but have been trying other detectors from other brands as well as the minelab top of the line Etrac. Still have the Etrac but last month bought another new Xterra 705 because it's lighter, faster sweep speed, and more fun to use and I don't think I'm sacrificing much if anything.

I shure whish everyone would change the signature to say where they are from every time they made a post like mine - it makes it cool to see where someone is from and I have found some nice detecting buddies that way when I found out they were close to me. Just city, state, country. (nothing personal) for safety.

I'm in New Jersey and a fairly new 705 user. Coin and jewelry guy. So far I'm loving this detector!

Thanks and good hunting,

Hi, I live in the southern part of Fayette County, PA. I've been detecting since the mid 1970's. Started out with a Whites 5900, upgraded to 6000 DiPro and thought I had the best detector made. I found a lot of silver with that machine. Since that time I've had just about everything out there looking for the best depth machine. When I bought a Minelab Sovereign I stopped trying other brands. My buddies initially made fun of the musical tones coming from the sovereign, but they soon stopped laughing when the sovereign started pulling silver out of iron infested areas that their cz6's couldn't hunt. That first sovereign made a "brand" believer out of me.
