I'll take a 3kHz DD of any size! And I don't even care who makes it.

From what I've gathered, MineLab has a user request database.So e-mail, call, or whatever it takes to make it known that you want one, and get your request added to their database. I did, and I'll keep pestering them until SOMEONE produces one.

Just go to the MineLab site and hit the "Contact Us" button at the top of the page. You may get a form letter response telling you to contact a dealer to get the coil that you're after, but if you reply and tell them that you're after someting that doesn't exist, they'll add your request.

A bunch of folks pestering them might be worth the minimal effort that is required. You know, "The sqeaky wheel......."
