I see you have straight shafts on both your md's. Are they a minelab product or from another manufacturer?

The middle shafts are the Whites, either M-6 or classic series, the clip hole just has to be re drilled for the bottom. Tesoro middle shafts are about 3 inches longer and will work also..................Mark

Do you prefer the 705 over the 70?

Ya know, the jury is still out on this. I really can't tell if the 705 is "Better" than the 70. Since the warranty ran out on the 70, I just wanted to have a new one. I just did'nt want to be without a Xterra if I had to send one in for service!!................Mark
