!!! Its a nice machine and seems to really get the job done for me. I am mainly a beach guy and go pretty often and so far its performing pretty darn well in the dry sand and actually decent in the wet sand. I've had to adjust sensitivity in wet sand to account for ground conditions and GB didn't help much but non-the-less its doing its job! Obviously, this machine is not your typical beach going machine, I think a PI would be much more appropriate but since that Sovereign, Excal, and 3030 are still out of reach Im quite content combing the dry sandy beaches and occasional low tide to hunt for treasures!! Ive owned the Sovereign,Ace 150, Trident Viper ( JUNK!), and this one and so far this is second place only to the Sovereign, you just really cant compare the two though, it would be apples and oranges.
