Coin is a 2krone or Double krone 1628 minted under Danish king Christian IV

Coin was not in normal circulation but was minted as war payment for the crown.

Struck in 333 pcs only and before this known in 4-6 pcs it is a find of a lifetime.

This coin is in a better grade then the one that was sold for 20 k USD in 2004. ( 2004 currency exchange rates )

Found in Denmark by " Tobias " and this spring and now delivered to the Danish museum authorities.

We congratulate Tobias and his X-T 70............What a find............

Tobias is a member of the Danish detector forums.

Truly spectacular condition, maybe lost during a payment transaction at the spesific site as these where not in circulation.

Looks to be uncirculated with some small damages wich fits perfectly with the history of these coins.

Who knows, we will probably never know how it got there.

Thanks for all your kind remarks! Been a lurker for a while, but thought I should treat you to a photo with higher resolution and a slightly more "golden feelin'". I'm still smiling, and probably will be for some time!

Regards

Tobias

OK I'll ask the ignorant American question, what do you mean reward or maybe coin?
