What is the difference between the Classic SL IDX and the IDX Pro?
Thanks

Seems to me they added some gain boost to the IDX Pro. This would give it a little more depth if ground conditions would allow use of the added gain. The IDX Pro pod face was less reflective so there was less sun glare. Other than that ... stencil changes.

Glad I could help. BTW, I have a Mr. Bill modded IDX Pro. The added manual ground balance adjustment allows this unit to go even deeper. They are great Slow Motion / Quick Recovery units.

Have fun,

At some point they changed the Amplifier chip on the recieve coil from a LF441 to a NE5534 .
