I stumbled across this ad for a vintage fisher detector and just had to provide a link here. It looks super cool and the seller is not asking much. It's on craigslist. Have a look...

Ha...No clue on the year. It's not my machine. I just saw the ad when I was cruising craigslist and thought it would be a good one to share here.

Not sure of the year either!! But I believe that unit is a Fisher T-10. It uses large obsolete batteries like a 67.5 volt and has vacuum tubes! The search coil is made out of wood.

If you're correct that is just way too cool! You might be able to weld with a 67 volt battery :yikes:
