A Hot Head 5.5" search coil called " The Ferret" made for XLT,XL Pro,5900 Detectors? Just wondering if it's worth trading for.

The 5.5 Ferret Hot Head coils worked great for me on an XLT and XL Pro I had at the time, but especially a super pick on a Classic III and IDX Pro! I used them on my modified III the most, but also got in a lot of time on my modified IDX Pro. It's one of my favorite coils for working iron and trash-littered ghost towns and similar sites.

If you can get a clean one for a good price, give it a try. I felt the smaller coil was better suited to the slow-motion Classic models, but on my XL Pro it did 'OK' too. I just preferred the white colored 6½" Blue Max 600 coil for a little extra coverage. I have had three of the 5.5 HH Ferret coils in the 6.59 kHz frequency and never had a bit of trouble with them.
