It seems that the T2SE loves brass & copper. I've been having the same issues with mine lately.:bouncy:

The T2 absolutely loves brass and copper! That thing screams on the copper for sure! Ive learned that you really have to listen for certain sounds to find the deep silvers! Ever since Ive learned what to listen for I have been finding more silver then ever before! I was getting a little discouraged with the T2 because I wasnt finding near as much silver as I did with my beginner F2. I knew that it picked the brass and copper up extremely well but Im after that silver! When Im looking for silver which is always I choose to run with tone 3. There is a distinct sound I listen for and the behavior of the audio when passing over the target! Since I have learned this method its unreal how many silver coins I have missed in past! I think I just wasnt digging the silver targets before. The deep silver usually doesnt have a strong clear sound! The visual Id isnt always accurate either. You really have to listen carefully to get them deep silvers! I also learned that if you bury coins yourself to try and test it the machine doesnt behave the same as when you are digging a coin that has been in the ground for a long time. This is why I wont use test gardens anymore! I was going off of how the machine behaved when I buried some silver targets but in the feild its not always the same! Now that Ive learned all this I feel Im unstoppable with the T2! Thanks Teknetics for providing me with a game changer!!!

Hey Justin - thanks for the post. You're right about the copper, I was diggin' stinkin' Lincolns like crazy yesterday, but I may have missed the silver.

"you really have to listen for certain sounds"

What sounds are you referring to?

Thanks,
Rick
