Thanks so much for the information about the Platinum. I am disabled, and the detector is light as a feather. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I am looking forward to it!

Thanks for the review. I got a BH Platinum for Christmas. It is the first MD that I have ever had(I am 45). I don't have any reference. But, I can tell you that I am thoroughly enjoying my BH.

Dude.......What website is advertising the Bounty Hunter Platinum ?

I Googled First Texas Product, LP, but that website didn't show it.

Next, I Googled bounty hunter platinum metal detector and got a links list and tried Kellyco, but they don't list it.

Are you still satisfied with it's performance ?

Thanks,

ToddB64

deliverboy.......click-on the hyperlinked address (colored light-blue) in abingo's above post 10-15-2012. That will take you to the metaldetector.com website, where you can scroll down to "Product Specifications" and see the frequency for the Platinum and all the other specifications too.

BTW, I was looking at your Signature; you have a nice arsenal, especially the first four detectors !

oh ok found them now thanks. Yeah most of the Bounty Hunters are gone now, it's more off a list of detectors I had rather than what I currently have. Phasing them out since I'm not an octopus lol
