Does anyone know of an SEF coil that might work with any of the older bounty hunter models such as the landstar? I thought I saw a video on you tube once which showed a foreign made SEF coil being used on an older model. Can't find now though.

There is the NEL coil, I believe it is made in Russia, you can find them on E-Bay. If you want a DD, just go with the Fisher F-4 11" DD coil with the plug in connector. Had one with an F-4 and tried it on my Landstar, worked well, sold the F-4 and the coil went with it.

Thanks for your info Delaware. I'm assuming that the 11' DD got more depth than the 10" bounty hunter coil (assuming you hade a10" BH coil).
