I would detect at any public parks, fair grounds if you have any, or public schools. I have never had anyone ask me to leave at any of the public schools I have detected at in my area. I noticed by looking on the internet for Duchesne Ut that you have plenty of State Parks, Rv and camp grounds as well as tourism areas. I would ask permission from the state parks and rv parks to hunt in the slower times of the year for maybe late fall and early spring, if you explain what you plan to do and maybe give them a demonstration if they ask, all they can say is no. i prefer schools and parks to anything else right now. other responsibilities make it tough to get away for too long. It does look like you have quite a few schools in your area. I dig with a screwdriver most of the time and they do not seem to mind me digging when they see I am just digging with it.
