Everyone's out hunting...

Do a search in all the forums and for all dates. I just tried it again and got over 230 pages of stuff relating to Infinium. Granted some of it is just talk but there are some informative conversations by some knowledgeable Infinium owners there. Several of them helped me out recently. You will find what you need to get you started.

Hope that helps.
John

Hi Blowfly1967.
There are quite a few posts re the Infinium if you look around a bit.
Look for Infinium posts by Adrian SS, Ivanll, Fishers Ghost or even jackinthebox , if still in existance, or just do a search for Infinium Posts.

I do agree tho that there are not many infinium users putting up posts on any of the Aussie forums and every time I say anything about this detector I get shouted down by the ML operators, so I have not posted about the INf for a while now.

Thanks Ivanll.
Right now I cannot afford to go to go to Yass let-alone the gold coast.
I will be flogging of some of my tectors via Ebay shortly. Not the Inf of course.

I didn't realize that disposable AA batts. are 1.5v. and the Garrett supllied racks have 1.2v., I cant help but think that charging 9.6v. (series of 8 x 1.2) with a 12v. charger isn't mathematically correct. Garrett told me they hadn't thought of that. My Baby (Inf.) wont get past 2 beeps on start up with re-chargeables at all. I dont think there is a solution on the factory racks until they use 1.5v. ones. It's said the LS runs actually at 7ish v. but using Alkaline, zincs, etc. I get good full power for a long day (maybe into next day some) with threshold bout 4 and I dont even use the factory rack . Wonder how many Infiniums are returned from this lack of User & Makers knowledge of this. They were going to look into it after I phoned them, haven't recd. the return call yet . My Infinium Is My deep seeking Baby - It's not going anywhere but put to use. Not sure if I have it Super-tuned but it works good if you stay Focused.
Infin. & Lobo work for me like GP & GB2 do for others

Oh; and motionless detection(No more back n forth.) Built in pinpointer(Also motionless.)Freq scans digital in 30 secs, grnd bal in under 30secs, all automatic. Salt/sand/sea mode. I can walk from dry sand, to wet sand, to right into the surf, and she's still dead quiet.

I am still waiting to see if the rumor is true about an Infinium II from Garrett. A pinpoint function on the Infinium would be a dream come true!
