A little SILVER at the office today.

I love to hunt scary inner city parks, because there are so many goodies for me to find. The only bad thing about them is I have to clean the trash out first, so I can find the good stuff , or get mugged trying too.

Well Done:thumbup:

What City Do You Live In?

Have You had any problems while Detecting?

I am also tempted by inner city areas but must have "Buddies" along being short and female

Fresno, CA. I have a rescued American bulldog named Roxy, so she is my eyes and ears when Im working the parks. Even with a buddy people would still sneak up on me. Although with Roxy as my buddy the contact with people stopped. Furthermore, I try to hunt the parks from 9:00am to noon when all the bad elements are sleeping, and I also never hunt them on a regular schedule.

She is Gorgeous:clapping:

I have two Rescue Shi Tzues and a Rescue Talking Parrot ( His first words were "Skrew You, Want a Beer?" )

Luv Them but I know Roxy is more impressive about keeping people away

How did you train her to stay and "guard" while you detect

And I also believe early morning detecting is also key to having less problems in problem areas

Keep Safe and HH

Roxy just has the basic training, sit, stay, down and so on. I have her on a twenty foot leash when Im at the parks, and she just hangs out. It is more of a DOG presence that provides a safe working area for me if anything.

Did Roxy jump into one of your holes as you were filling it back in?

Congratulations on the finds. Thanks for the pictures and stay safe.

Nice Job! Let me know if you ever need a buddy or two to go to an inner city park. Would love to join you on one of your hunts!
