FBS tech seems to LOVE high conductors! If it's silver and old copper you seek,you have a great machine to do it with. Congrats on a couple of really nice coins to start!

Congrats Mike on those great finds. If you don't have a smaller coil yet, the E-TRAC excels with one. Go nice and slow and it will find the keepers sitting next to trash!

The E-Trac is an amazing machine. The more you learn it, the more it will amaze you with what it can find.......I have gotten fairly proficient with it, but still haven't really "learned" it.
Good luck and have FUN!!!!

It works very well on high conductors .

But i assure you all it works just as well on low conductors too. Have had many Gold rings and low conductor coins with my ET , even the Explorer's are no different.
Very good machines .

Hope the next version is designed like the Equinox but with better stem. But keep the weight down as well as gimmicks "CTX".

Uses = Minelab E.Trac , Minelab Explorer 11 (might sell) , Minelab Explorer XS , Minelab Equinox 800 x 2 (ordered) , Garrett Probes , Gray Ghost/ Nugget Busters

I found a very low conductor on 31 May 2009 at a Weekend Wanderers dig on the Surrey / Kent border UK.
It is a Cantii (Kent) tribe Quarter Stater of around 30 to 50 BC . Its around 10 mm in diameter and 2mm thick. 1 of 8 known i think.

If someone can tell me how to put a picture on here without Photobucket then i will share it.
