Need Advice On an Asking Price For a V3i

I have a friend that is selling a 6 month old Whites V3i. I am really interested in it, but he is asking $1400. It has less than 10 hours on it and has wireless headphones. This thing looks brand spanking new! I really would like to have it, but I am wondering if $1400 is a bit steep for it. It is the original V3i, not an upgraded model. If his price is too much, what is a fair price?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,
G2M

It doe's not need an update and that is an alright deal. Your saving around 350.00+ from not buying a new one. I boughjt one in Oct of last year and it was 7 months old just like the one your looking at with wireless headphones but it included a Sunray Dx-1 Probe and paid 1425.00. Look on this forum in the Classifieds--they have some good deals--i'd stay away from fee bay right now with the mass quanity of v3i that hit the auction block all at once. I would get it if i really wanted one and he's a friend so you are get a true deal. Good Luck--lets us know if you got it and how you do with it. HH

I would have to say that it sounds a little steep. You're losing 6mos of warranty, and he surely bought is from a local dealer and possibly shaved off 15% of MSRP to begin with. I'd try for $1300. If the coils that comes with it passes the RX=15 at waist level, or better yet 15 w/Boost on as well, $1400 could be OK. Just my opinion. martin
