Question about the all metal vs motion disk mode

Hello! I was looking at the instructional videos about the Scorpion on YouTube and I was wondering; if when the toggle switch is push on the All metal mode, for deep gold prospecting, is the Scorpion becomes a pulse induction machine? As you do not need to move the coil from side to side to to be able to ear your target? Just like a pulse induction machine. Or is it still a VLF machine?

Also why the all metal mode is not recommended to do coin or jewels detecting? Since this mode if for deep detecting would it not make sense to use this setting for coins and jewel hunting also? And thus detecting deeply buried treasure?

The Scorpion is is a VLF machine, the Infinium is a pulse machine.
You can hunt deep coins in All Metal although you would have to dig all as most discrimination circuits only ID down to 6-8", less in heavy mineralization. Dig all in All-Metal if you want the deep stuff.

No......it is not a pulse induction machine. A PI is a totally different animal all together. A ground balanced Scorpion in true all metal mode with the sensitivity turned up and audio set up properly is the deepest mode for searching for gold and anything else.
