Got out for a bit today. Came up with an 1852 Large cent that had been shot, A trade token for $0.05 to A. Washburn store and 4 wheats(28, 34, 45, 58).

Bells and whistles are nice, but nothing will substitute for the basic understanding of the hobby.

Yea,, me too. The E-Trac is a nice one and pretty easy to use. It is ready to go right out of the box with the coin program and the hardest part is learning it's language.

Nice finds. I'm still waiting for my large cent. Something about the token looks familiar but I can't ID it right now. If you're making finds like these with your Ace 250 you are not going to need your new machine. LOL

Looks like the token could possibly be from Ansel C. Washburn, proprietor of the Arlington Hotel & Saloon in Princeville, Illinois. Late 1800's to early 1900's.

That's my guess too on the token, but its different than the token in the token catalog website.

You can see the dark spot on the token and the large cent where they were touching in the ground. Popped em out of the same hole.
