Good deal! This is exactly what I was looking for. Good job Garrett and thank you for adding

I hope your right, but that's not how I see it. --- I see it as an indication that the unit is paired to the wireless headphones. ---- Hope I'm wrong. ----

Above the sensitivity adjustment on the keypad in orange it has "VOL ADJUST".....my question is not general volume adjustment that can easily be adjusted as most earphones have a vol adjustment...i want iron audio volume adjust.

That pic doesn't match up with the Kellyco pic. What gives ? Where this one says vol adjust the Kellyco pic says frequency adjust.

The pic Kellyco is showing is probably from a proto-type. The ones being released will have the volume control.

Mr. Edmonton, do you know if the volume of the iron audio on the At Max is independently adjustable or is it preset at the factory?

Underwater headphones

Well for the most part you would be correct. However, if using the Garrett underwater headphones, there is no volume control and it is EXTREMELY loud on the AT Pro. It was so loud I resorted to using ear plugs when water hunting. The volume control on the Max will be welcomed for that.
