A T Max depth

Starting to see some nice reports and results with the Max, but I am wondering about its true depth in the ground coin size target potential in disc. mode? Know it will be deeper in all metal then the Pro, but wondering about the pro zero mode, or its equivalent, on the Max? Anybody have an older seeded coin garden they would like to share their results on it with the Max? Thanks, HH jim tn

Deeper on what? Different targets, of different sizes, favorite different frequencies.

It's probably not appreciably deeper, it's marketing.

They lowered the frequency a little bit just so they could say it's deeper.

So while it may indeed gain an inch on something, it will lose it on something else.

In a few years they will probably go back the other way again, the ATMaxGold.

So the Freq on the ATMax probably would yield a little more for the average hunter, it depends, it's so close and a lot of variables involved.

Placebo is one hell of a drug.

"Coin size target potential," but lets say on a dime. Not a whole lot of variables involved for those that have some aged buried coins in a good test garden. I had one but it got messed up when we re-sodded the area. HH jim tn

OK on a high conductor dime it should go a little deeper, but not as deep on say a real nickle coin or gold alloy as the ATGold. (18kHz)

ATPro ~15kHz is kinda in the middle but closer to the ATMax at 13.6kHz.

A legitimate question for sure, Jim. And one that can only be answered with any authority by someone who has used both.
