I hunted a Gettysburg retreat rout camp today & found a pain bullet & a hand full of gardners. This is the first time I went there with my CZ-3D. It ran like a champ. All targets were 8" & deeper. I found a couple of chewed round balls there before.

That is a great find. I have never seen a bullet like that before. That is one of the things that is so awesome. Finds like that really kinda puts you in touch with the reality of the men that fought and suffered in that war.

Chewed bullets are pretty common where I hunt because of the three hospitals that were there, but this is about the spookiest chewed. Anyone else see the skull with the hole in his head?

Bells and whistles are nice, but nothing will substitute for the basic understanding of the hobby.
