Noticed that around here there is hardly anyone in the parks between noon and about five.
Maybe the 104 degree heat index has something to do with it! LOL
calling for 105 on Wednesday.
Stay cool, the coins will be there on a better day!

An empty park is your playground. In the summer, I hunt almost exclusively at night because it's just me, the bums and the axe murderers.

The tarantulas and other giant spiders come out at night. Axe murderers I can handle.

The axe murderers are good help on 100-degree hunts. They know how to dig a darn good hole in this dry soil!

I didn't hunt yesterday but I heard on my police scanner that a black bear was wandering thru town and went right thru my number two detecting spot. I would have loved to have seen it as long as it was not momma and cub. I try to remember to take my camera with me when I detect for events like this. Good luck everyone. Be safe and HH. Matt
