I was out at my daughters home near Banning, California last week and her husband told me a story of a burned down farm house and barn. It is easy to get to and I drove by. No fences or obstacles. I did not have my metal detector with me (never again!) and I havent any plans to return to Banning for the rest of the year.
Before someone decides to plow up the area I thought I would post this lead from this forum so someone with the time and detector can go and investigate. I dont know if it has been searched before.
