Better late than never. I don't own a CTX so I seldom come on this forum but I'm so glad I decided to drop by the upscale part of town.

I rarely watch anything about metal detecting that doesn't make me think afterwards why did I waste my time watching that. I seldom watch metal detecting videos on You Tube anymore and never watch unreality shows like Diggers. When I saw this thread I figured I probably wouldn't enjoy this show either, but so many had good things to say I decided to check out the first episode.

I was addicted faster than you can say crack cocaine. Watched the first two seasons over the last week and I'm thrilled to hear there's going to be a third. This show is not only hilarious but also touching at times. The Brit humor here is desert dry and unrelenting. Over the top for sure, but also eerily spot on in many ways. So well written and acted. Hats off to this guy Mackenzie Crook who wrote and directed this entire series. And you KNOW he metal detects by the way this show just gets it.

My only complaint: the number of episodes in a season. British seasons were always shorter than US shows, but seven episodes? I remember when a typical season of US shows was 39 episodes...

I wonder if the filming is done and when they will release the shows?

I was wondering about that! Hopefully Minelab was smart enough to get some product placement of the Equinox.

Brilliant move! I will be totally impressed if somebody at Minelab has been keeping an eye on this and was able to sneak in an Equinox prototype to the filming.
