Got a copy with my new CTX last month. A must have for the first time CTX owner. Lots of valuable information that will cut months if not years off of your learning curve with this machine. Also, using the beach gold program, I happened to find some gold on the first hunt with the new machine. So I feel your book has more than paid for itself. Thanks Andy..:Stuart

Hi Andy,

Got your book and I have to agree that its better than the manual. I have read both.... I then re read your book. Lots of tips and useful information, especially with the much dreaded falsing that we all go through. I have not had a chance to get my new ML out. Still stuck on how one truly knows when and how to GB any machine as any ground condition can change. I really liked the tip around page 40 ish, where if something new is lost, what setting to go to. With my old machine, I used it a few times to help folks find missing rings and other items. Again I'm excited to dig deep for the older coins and your book maps folks into that direction.

Thanks,

I ordered and book was delivered in a couple days. It is extremely well written and for once I will read this book cover to cover. I own two etrac soldiers so I already have one step ahead in the learning. Things I felt on the etrac operation Andy explains why it's that way. I am learning allot about the controls and settings on the ctx, I have already found a Pandora bracelet on the beach with it. (A foot deep.) Excellent reading, I still have allot to learn. Thanks Andy

Andy, just wanted to say I got your book today, (not much of a physical book reader these days) but spent an hour and a half reading the book cover to cover, excellent book! When I first got the 3030 I posted a thread on here thinking my CTX 3030 was defective out of the box being so used to the AT PRO. I thought for sure something was wrong, I'd sit there and watch my brother dig up amazing finds with his White's, while I'm sitting here with a $2500 toy. I learned a ton tonight and am excited to put what I learned into the field. My brother purchased a Safari not too long ago, he was in the same boat as me, bought 3 different coils for it and just got frustrated using it, put it up and pulled his White's back out, had him order your Safari Quattro handbook, he's willing to give it another chance :)

Keep up the great work, too bad you can't partner up with Minelab to write their manuals, I would have much rather received your information, would probably prevent people like me from returning the 3030 from frustration.

Andy and Jeremy,

I agree! Minelab would do a lot better with Andy writing there manuals. Your CTX 3030 manual really made a difference for me. Do you have one for the XP DEUS? I use that machine when my elbow hurts too much from swinging the 3030. Give a warm "hello," to Charlene for me.

Sincerely
Brenda

Thanks for the positive feedback . . . . unfortunately most technical things anymore have people that can build them but can't explain how to use them . . . . hence the books we have put out for the various machines.

As far as the Deus, yes, we have a Deus Handbook that covers that machine in the same format as the CTX 3030 and others.

Charlene woudl be happy to get one in the mail . . . you can get us at www.TreasureHuntingOutfitters.com

By the way that is why we also do the Bootcamps which are full day sessions that take performance to the next level at locations in your area.

Andy

I will pick up your XP DEUS book. When or are you coming to the Treasure Coast area of Florida?

I read the CTX3030 book by Andy Sabisch and now have much better insight into the advantages and limitations of the 3030. I particularly like the ability of the 3030 to finely screen-out unwanted targets and selecting, for example, to concentrate of gold and coins. The ability to identify targets with a high degree of accuracy at varying depths is also a clear advantage. I was surprised that the large 17" coin didn't necessarily provide greater depth but does provide for greater coverage (and need for a harness for the larger and heavier coil). I found only one small correction (typo) - on page 160, across from Threshold level (Page 46); the range given is "1 to 50" and the correct range is "1 to 30", as noted on page 46.
Even though I don't own a 3030, now that I have read the book I'm even more interested in purchasing one....just wish my wife didn't want a new frig that costs the same amount as the 3030.

I'm curious to know how this will help Canadian's?

I mean that in the sense of our coins, and the fact that the content is much different than American's?

Gold is gold, and silver is silver, but curious to know what other Canadian's think of this book?

With no disrespect intended, just curious to know how helpful it will be for us.........or other countries for that matter?

If it's just as useful, is there a place in Canada I can get it from?

There is a really good Minelab vendor here, but they don't seem to have access to it?
