Howdy sunraysux. Thanks for the kind words. And yes, unfortunately most of the silver coins that I dig are dark and stained - that's west Texas soil for you! Once in a while I'll dig one that looks decent. I've dug silver coins in western NY that still had luster on them after being in the ground for 50-100 years. So I know what you mean. I went back to that site again today, sans lawn mower and found some more dark silver. I'll post those finds later tonight. Best of luck and...
