Just released in January -- the first new Colonial and Civil War relic book in more than five years.

And it's the first full color relic book.
When I began contemplating a book, I thought about what I would like to see in a book. What would I find interesting and, by extension, other relic hunters -- what would they find interesting?
"Relics and Reminiscing" is the result.
The text is taken from records compiled from more than 30 years of relic hunting. Included are the good days and not so good days of relic hunting; the trips caught in a rain or ice storm, dealing with nature's critters such as snakes, mosquitoes -- and alligators. There's even a "ghost" story.
In between all of nature's obstacles, there were the relics. More than 130 brilliant color and close-up photographs highlight these relics on 152 pages between hardback covers.
In the first month alone, more than 250 copies of the 1,000 have been sold. Here's what some of the readers had to say:
"Just writing to congratulate you on an awesome book; I finished reading it right after I got it and it is something to be very proud of. I can learn a lot from the veteran relic hunter like yourself." Tenn. relic hunter
"WOW! What a nice piece of work. I was really impressed." S.C. historian and church pastor.
"I finished reading your book this weekend and enjoyed it through and through." Tenn. relic hunter
"I have been enjoying your book and read a little bit of it every day trying to savor every story." N.C. relic hunter
"I wanted to let you know that I just finished reading your book and I loved it." Md. relic hunter
Each signed and numbered copy is $29.95 plus $5 (domestic) first class shipping. SC res. add 7 percent tax.
