Highly mineralised Soil Help

Hi Guys,

The soil in my town seems mostly on the 10-20 range when I check the ground balance, which is terrible for my 7.5khz 9" concentric coil, very chatty and only seems to get a few inches deep .. but it has found me the most coins in the past so I'm always eager to stick with it. When I use the DD 18.75khz I get more shallow small stuff but is it missing medium/large coins?
Either way it's pretty frustrating what coil would be the best to get deep in mineralized soil for me? Or am I better to look at a different machine all together?

Thanks!

Hmm I'm guessing a larger DD coil would help .. that would make sense. But they are still like $500NZD that's nearly halfway to an equinox :cautious:

I would try a 10.5 inch 7.5 kHz coil. And also use tracking. Make sure you noise cancel the machine also.

No coils but the ones produced by Coiltek and Minelab are authorised, and as such they aren't privy to the necessary programming information to produce coils that can function optimally.
Don't waste your money.

In your situation, I would learn to use Prospector Mode to hit on deeper non-ferris targets.
