Thanks Lodge Scent. Unfortunately my Pennsylvania soil isn’t good to coppers, I can’t get a date, I can see what I believe is a 17?? on the one on the right, but that’s it... Flat. Uttons are the same, pretty toasted. One has gold writing on it,I need to clean it better and see what it says on the back. Hoping for silver or gold from these fields tho, house is 1830 and I doubt the fields have ever been detected

2 coppers and flatties in an hour? Yeah there’s good stuff there for sure! We’re you on an iron patch?

Iowa relic, not sure if I had iron volume turned off or not. Just had basic one ,nothing touched. But the cornfield starts on the other side of that house, and I was at the beginning just poking around through the rows to see if it was productive enough to go back. I’ll definitely be going back all summer, did some work for the owner and he gave me permission..

Certainly with Basic program you will find a good majority of the non ferrous targets. But the real fun is when you make a few tweaks and start finding all those iron masked targets that Basic missed. A site like that can keep you happily hunting for years. I am looking forward to see what goodies you pull from there!

Nice finds
Mark

That’s a great short hunt. Good going
