Cz...... (Still my go to detector)

Tony-Ok

Well-known member
The last 6 months I have spent using 2 other new detectors only to return to the CZ 70. I have been using CZ s since 1993. I have updated it with some Garrett wireless headphones!! I love the comfort I have with it. Great Audio, modulation, deep, pinpoints precise !! I wish Fisher would come out with a new CZ ..... ultra light version would be great !!! As newer detectors are released, I still will purchase and try to replicate the performance I get with the CZ , but as of now Cz is still the top dog in my arsenal !!! HH Tony

Can't go WRONG with a Fisher CZ.
Great coin machines. My Cz3d netted me my Oldest Silver and Best Gold ring I've ever Dug. Not my Go to machine these days though!!!
By the way, that Gold ring rang in
a High Tone and did what it was Designed to do !!! Wish you the Best!

Yes, Larbear2 got CZ5 in 1993 and traded it off a year ago thinking I was missing things , new tech was going to find , I was wrong. Lucky that I have a CZ70 to still outperform the modern tech ....... ML800, XP OR, Anfi, ML54 ....... my test never lies !!! Gotta love the CZ !!!!! Wish FIsher would develop a new CZ .

Sold mine and bought an Excal. I sold the Ecal and bought a Nox. It leaked, Minelab fixed it and I sold it. Now I'm back to square one. Been using the CZ-21 for over a year. This one is very deep and it doesn't leak.
I have the NOX and the CZ21. I like the NOX for land and dry/wet sand hunting. The CZ21 is my water machine. Never leaks and does the job. I've had several Minelab Excaliburs over the years but the CZ21 seems to be the one I can most tie into. It is just like part of me. I wish I would have found out about the CZ21 long before.

Question. I've never owned a CZ or any Fisher for that matter but I sometimes hunt with a friend who will use one of the analog CZ's at times. I've noticed he will eat my lunch on nickels. My theory is that when the analogs were designed there were not at many types of tabs plus most folks were coin hunters then so they designed them so they had a more narrow range that incorporated nickels while eliminating more tabs. On more modern machines the nickel range is elongated which allows more jewelry but also more tabs. Does this make sense?

Got to go with what works, the newest latest greatest thing isn't always what works, my F5 is my little buddy.
Never tried a CZ but by what I've read here on the forum everybody loves them.
