WOW!! Lots of Silver!!!

Old coin hunter

Well-known member
Over the last two days i've detected a little over 6 1/2 hours on a lawn next to a church that was built about 1919. The lawn is 40x70 feet and i detected it West to East and have covered just about 80 % of it. I really didn't find much except for some clad until i got just past half way. Things really picked up from there to where i quit today as you can see by the photos. Started getting mixed tones and vdis as there are old square nails and other small pieces of old metal and most of the things i found had other metal next to them. It was an awesome time detecting there and i'll finish it up next time i go back and then take a break and go back and detect it North to South. I'm hoping there may be a Silver or two left to be found , but we'll see. Here is what i found. 1 qtr, 4 dimes, 4 nickles, 11 coppers, 10 zincs, 1 Levi rivet, 1 pendant, 1 copper? with Paul and warranty written on it, a 1960s ford key, 1 Canadian dime, 2 Wheats,1 Indian, 1 V nickle, 3 Rosies, 1 Barber and 1 small Silver ring. If anyone knows what the pendant represents or what the square copper thing is please let me know. HH Jim.

Its fun when you suddenly hit the demarcation line and all the good stuff breaks loose. Just about the time ya give up is when you find it. Nice finds!

Wow Jim, that’s a nice group of finds.
That Barber is in fantastic shape too. 👍
You always know your at a decent site when harmonica reeds start popping up.

Congrats on some awesome finds

Very nice finds, I believe the pendant is Masonic, Order of the Eastern Star, but I could be wrong. Always nice to see folks finding silver. Good luck on your hunts!
