What I hope is on the new Deus... Lower iron volume setting. Whats your hope for the new machine?

I love the Deus best iron machine ever made. I hope they changed the iron volume on the new one so you can turn it down lower than the current Deus. Think about a iron volume that would go down lower than whats on the current machine....In a patch of iron it would be great!! That is my one hope for the new unit. Whats on your wish list?

That would be great. I do get a little overwhelmed with all the iron.
I think a waterproof controller would be great, no worries about getting it to wet.
All in all I think it's a great machine the way it is...
 
I have only been using the XP Deus for just 2 years now (Nov 2019) having previously used the Nox 800. But I have found more quality finds (Civil war bullets, buttons and period coins) then in the previous almost 3 plus years using the Nox 800 here in Virginia.

I would like two main
upgrades/enhancements;
a) waterproof option for the control module
b) better pinpoint option
c) multi-frequency option that reads the ground conditions and adjusts the proper frequency in real time

I think one of the best features on the Whites V3i is you can see what frequency is hitting the best when you are over the target. Probably not going to happen but a guy can dream.
 
Waterproof and bring the price down in the range of the equinox and the new Nokta whenever that detector comes out?

Didn't they just lower the price on the current Deus? I see them for $949 a couple places right now. I'm assuming that was a step they took with this new machine in mind.

That said, an MF Deus for under $1000 would be Minelab's worst nightmare (and my dream!) so maybe you've got something there.

It could be just me, but when I poinpoint it seems the "target" under my coil is all over the place, it is just not as intuitive say with the Minelab Nox 800; I purposely dig a bit bigger plug so I do not damage the item.

That's a fair point. I very rarely use the pinpoint button as I find it faster and easier to X targets in whatever mode I'm searching in.

Yep I’d buy one because I need a backup machine I only have a equinox..
