Is this a time to buy a used detector

With a couple of companies announcing new releases
I am wondering if this is a good time to buy a used detector
i will also bet there be another company announcing something next year for spring due to this new competition

I have a feeling the market is going to be flooded with used detectors real soon. To be honest, the Equinox absolutely ruined the used detector market. It use to be you could sell a used detector for close to what you paid for it. Not anymore! There are some proven detectors that people will be "giving" away. I would not hesitate to get one of these super bargains.

Depending on the type of hunting you do, and the detectors you currently use, you might not 'need' another unit. If you think you do, I suggest looking for a well cared for used unit, or even shop for a brand new package.

Wait until those detectors are in circulation. You will be able to get a steal. Sellers get desperate wanting to sell so they can get a new release.

Well Gents we have come a long way I remember the first detector from the good old days------a one pound magnet and a broom handle:rofl::huh::lol:
