Deus 2 most anticipated release ever..

Ok Kajunmom so Deus opted to make the majority and minority both happy...Funny how different peoples brains work . A company that has a two year warranty has more confidence in their machine than a company who has a 5 year warranty. . You are over here on the Deus forum being a spokesperson for Nokta. Ok just because you asked I will state a few obvious things....
1 Nokta has never matched a Deus in its past offerings....
2 When I show the Deus 2 spanking the New Legend to the ends of the earth I do not want to hear you crying about the Deus 2 cost more...
3 A Deus 2 does not look like a Equinox clone.
4 Like I said you are over here in on the big boys forum now.

BTW Monte must have misunderstood what you were saying...
Kajunmom is cute. Did you think of that all by yourself ? No where did I say the legend would be better. I did infer it could suffice given that most don't dive. I asked a simple question boy. I expect the Deus 2 to be a great detector. Not once did I say anything to the contrary. It's also considerably more expensive than the other companies offerings, so it should be better. No ?

I'm looking forward to see how it performs, seeing how I do a lot of beach hunting. There is one specific piece of jewelry that I'm anxious to find out if the new Deus performs better on than all of the other companies.

4 Like I said you are over here in on the big boys forum now. Your weight doesn't have anything to do with this forum.

I asked a simple question. Why so defensive ?

edit: 3 A Deus 2 does not look like a Equinox clone. Who said that ?

I am excited about the new Deus2 and how it will work and especially on the iron laden grounds. I actually have 2 Deus detectors. I bought an almost new Deus from a friend when he needed some money a few years ago and then upgraded to an X35 9" coil. Then last year, I did a trade for another 2 month old Deus after my oldest son got into the hobby. I really would like to get my hands on the new Deus2 but being on a fixed income kind of dampens the possibility of me actually getting one. I will do what I can to save my pennies and maybe sell a few goodies I have been saving for years and might be able to come up with one. I am like Calabash in thinking this new Deus2 will be a game changer for detector manufacturers. I am dying to see the owner's manual and will download it as soon as XP posts it on their site.

Tells me Nokta is so confident they don't need a longer warranty.
That doesn't even make sense to me but you do you.
So you are telling me XP deus should offer no Warranty because they are confident in their Machine you sound like a FOOL.
I take it you are looking for a FREE Nokta but your statement makes no sense at all!

And Also I just watched a NEW Video where Dilek said she is working on them to UP their Warranty so now by your Theory they are admitting to the detectors will Leak? LOL

I do not know about you guys but I can not wait to get my hands on the Deus 2. Deus in a multi and water proof to 66 ft... That water depth rating will play into my relic hunting game big time. I can not wait to run it in a iron loaded relic site.
I am more excited about this release than any other... Game changer!
A detector I can hunt on land with and also dive with. That is REALLY dive with....not that 10 ft waterproof rating crap.
I agree Calabash. Have you or others heard the number of new Deus II machines that are earmarked for the US market? All i know from last month when I spoke with the rep at Metaldetectors .com that they are expecting "limited" numbers to the N. American market by years end/early Jan/Feb 2022? I also expect the crazy Supply train issue will no doubt play into when we can expect to receive these. Just curious what others have heard. Thanks

I have a Nokta, ORX and Garrett Infinium. They all have their place, strong points and weaknesses. If I am going in the water I grab the Infinium, the draw back is it is a pulse which means almost no discrimination. The ORX is great in iron and the worst of the 3 around EMI. The Nokta is the easiest to use, separates well but is out classed in iron by the ORX. Pick the best detector that you can afford and meets the requirements for the type of detecting you do. You can spend more money for a detector that has features that you will never use, but what is the point.

You might try restarting the XP when you hit EMI. Aim the bottom of the coil at the EMI source. They say normally at start up to hold it three feet off the ground while it sets itself. I had it about a foot off the ground parallel with the ground (EMI was some buried wires). Worked for me where it was undetectable. I think there are some youtube videos on this subject.

Just so everybody knows, I reported Kajunman for his derogatory post against Calabash. That is totally unacceptable and you should be ashamed of yourself. Look, I certainly don't agree with everything Calabash says, but that's just low down and mean hearted.
He has been going around calling me a Calibash Fan Boy on other websites.
He is Trolling to rile people up he has no idea what he is talking about so I hope people don't believe what he tells them.

I have tried that and played around changing frequencies but it is still more sensitive to EMI than my other detectors. But my main point was that you should pick the best detector that meets the needs for the type of detecting you do at a price you can afford. And sometimes that may mean the best choice is more than one detector or a less costly detector that may have less features but has the ones you need. I would love to have one detector that met all my needs and the new Deus II may be that machine but only time will tell if the extra cost lives up to the hype.

Ashamed of what ? I asked a question then he decided to take shots and be condescending. It's his M.O. Why ? No reason for that. He's the one who won't take comments on his videos. HE said take it to the forum. I did, then he's gotta start with the "this is a big boy forum" and the kajunmom quip. I didn't fire any shots until he did. Maybe you should go back and read again. I just asked a question.

Kajunman has been trolling me for years...I already knew what was coming as soon as I saw his name. Thats not the first time he has said something like that to me. All be it that was on another forum. Guarantee he is not even considering buying the detector we are talking about.

I do not know what coil you have but the high freq coils have worked wonders in some high EMI sites that rendered most detectors useless. 54kh and 74kh worked magic in those sites.

FALSE. I'm considering buying both. Why did you have to take a shot ? I asked a question then you wanted to get condescending. I've never trolled you. I just call out your BS.

I am getting both. There are people on here who are serious about the Deus ll . You can act like you came into this thread to play nice but you and me both know that aint true. In your view everything I have ever said about detectors is BS and you have been very vocal about in the past on the other forum. This is the Deus forum...

Maybe you read the question wrong. I asked a question. Go back and read it.

I will be doing test videos on the Deus 2 as soon as it gets here in the basic preset modes. Beach, Depth, Separation, ETC , and even some dive videos. The Alligators are asleep here pretty much now because its cold and it is time to go diving.

It might, but that will be determined by manufacturers and the global market trend. The market will determine how a many want what will be required for required waterproofing and audio performance.

Monte
Deus must have thought the Market called for the water rating to be extended now... I am glad they did because it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing I am going to able to take down the big brother of the best relic machine ever made...
