XP Deus II vs Equinox - 5 Reasons Why I Like The XP Deus II

Along with the annoying music, there is not one thing mentioned that makes the Deus II perform better in the field. Features mentioned are nice to have… however when it comes right down to it, pure performance in the field is where it’s at. I’ll stick with my equinox.

Cut out the leakage issues like the Nox in water better balanced , better original coil selection, lighter, better shaft , not nose heavy , more customization, those things are enough for me to sell my Nox . In iron the original Deus runs circles around the equinox in response and recovery. I have one and have hunted using both. I like the equinox but if this machine is what is being advertised I will be going to the Deus II. Don’t worry though you know Minelab will have an answer. Which is good for everyone 👍 Happy Hunting !

Everyone has their preferences. I wish you the best with your Deus II

Very true. I hunt relics so I am in heavy iron frequently . I have the Deus, The Equinox, and a Vanquish. All 3 are great machines ! IMHO it is what you are looking for as to which one will serve you the best. Good luck and again happy hunting ! 👍🍀
Your choice makes perfectly good sense. I hear the Deus is super at finding relics.

Listen to this when he starts detecting.
I sure hope it isn't going to be creaking like that when I get mine.

Sounds like a sick duck 🦆 😂😂

Ahh, yes. The old "my detector can beat up your detector!" debates! Kind of hard to form a real opinion when theyre not available in the US to do actual testing/side by side comparisons. Marketing can say anything they want; the proof is in the actual results and that has yet to be established. It will be interesting to see what Deus has created here

For one it looks very cold. I have hunted in very cold weather a few decades ago when I was younger and my detectors all made creaking noises. But stopped once weather warmed up above freezing.

I'd like to try the Deus II but I could never get used to the screen visuals.

There are enough videos out currently to get a pretty good idea what the Deus ll is all about and some head to heads, too. HH jim tn
