Can anyone spare a big bud coil

bebeeping

Active member
10 inch preferred
But open to other sizes
Or any other coil that will work
SO that the coil meter with move
Not just beep

What 'bud' do you have? Depends if it's a George Payne(Teknetics/TEK Ltd) or First Texas(Post 1990). The earlier buds used a push and twist connector on their coils. The First Texas used push connectors. You can use all bounty hunter 6.6 khz coils on the earlier buds, but you can't use the earlier 'push and twist' connector coils on the later First Texas 'buds'.
Sorry,I only have the earlier 'push and twist' connector coils. These will not work on the Bud 220 Select or Bud XL models.

Any of the 'muffler on a stick' models and the Discovery 1100,2200 and 3300 coils will fit your xl. Sometimes you can find these real reasonable on ebay. I don't have any of these coils and thinking of selling by big bud metal detector.

They make it beep
But do not move the coin meter
