XP DEUS II ..Is it really a good beach machine ?

My 800 is a great multi-purpose detector - coin shooter, relic hunter, beach hunter and gold prospector. I think that's why it has been so popular. Prior to that, I think the Garrett AT Pro held the spot of the multi-purpose or all purpose detector and was arguably the best seller until the 800 came along. My hope is that the Deus 2 takes the next step, for me anyway.

CALABASH:
When you do beach hunt - please "scrub" the wet sand as you detect.
For 2 reasons -
1. You are missing stuff being 1-2" above the sand (like a rookie) especially small stuff and chains and
2. I'd like to see how stable that audio is while swinging on top of the wet salt sand...
 
Funny you said that I thought about you saying that and said no I don't want to scrub the coil...Here is a video of coil scrub....start at the one minute mark....
