Calabash and TNSS have done a good job demonstrating the D2. Since CBD has softened his delivery, I've started watching his videos. I wish he would have done that from the start. He's been much more amicable as has TNSS.

I'm brand new to the Deus. TNSS is 100% correct about tonal nuances. I primarily hunt beaches with a little dirt digging thrown in. Tonal nuances can save a lot of time digging trash allowing you to concentrate on good targets. It will take a long time before I become as proficient with the D2 as I am with my Nox on the beach. I've been tweaking some settings and the gold is starting to come around.

Most people know neither CBD nor TNSS and I exchange Christmas cards. However, I appreciate their current approach.
 
That's a good tip as I detect beaches a lot!

Not to sound evil or anything.
Name of the game.
Leave the clad. Not waste time digging so Deus 2 user ups odds of getting over lower conductor (gold).
And by product here is, leaving these higher conductive clad coins means others folks using other other detectors (even Deus 2 users digging clad) have to dig lot of these since they don’t know conductivity level of target down there. Hence they are the ones wasting their time reducing their chances of getting over gold ring.

So in a sense leave the clad (bait).

Excellent advice for a gold ring recovery and timesaving hunt !
 
To pass up high conductors thinking it's only a clad quarter in search of only gold, is to pass up silver rings and other silver jewelry. For those willing to do that, I want to be hunting right behind them. :detecting:

I've dug some nice silver rings, some of which contained small diamonds, that my wife really appreciated. :cheekkiss:

I'm impressed with and like TnSharpshooter's method of determining target conductivity shown above by Calabash but I'll be the guy "wasting" his time digging both mid and high conductors.

Just the habitual behavior in my sandy foxhole....;)
 
I’ve also dug some very chunky 14k rings that are ringing up very high if it’s a good solid tone dig it! If you see my shovel after one year and how worn it is because I dig a lot a shovel lasts me maybe two years at best.

A person could dig 95 and higher signals using beach sensitive and have a chance for silver ring. Granted leaving the targets not IDing using beach sensitive would mean some silver rings not dug.
And to add,,,believe it or not. Using beach sensitive to hunt wet salt sand likely means user will not hear all deeper silver rings/clad Deus 2 is capable of locating. User would have to detect using dive mode or beach mode.
Yeah you can’t run one of the Deus 2 beach modes and detect all that that the detector is capable of detecting. So pick your poison. Or buy 2 Deus 2. Run one in one hand using beach sensitive, run one in other hand in dive mode. Have you a special set of headphones made that would accept 2 WS6 modules. One on each side of headphones. So one could heard each detector when they sound off. There you have it. The. You can get all the silver and gold the deus 2 can deliver.
